Understanding Export Resolution Limits in Minvo

Export resolution is limited to the original resolution of your uploaded file. Minvo does not upscale — you cannot export higher than what you uploaded.

How Export Resolution Works

Upload your video, choose a desired export resolution (1080p or 4K), then export. Minvo preserves the original quality and avoids artificial upscaling, which reduces clarity and introduces distortion.

Exporting at 1080p or 4K

Select 1080p export → output up to 1080p
Select 4K export → output up to 4K

The export setting defines the maximum possible resolution; the output never exceeds the source file's resolution.

Real-World Examples

A 640×360 upload exported at 1080p stays 640×360
A 1280×720 upload exported at 4K stays 1280×720

How to Ensure High-Quality Exports

Upload in the highest resolution available
Record or edit in 1080p or 4K before uploading
Disable HDR when recording — it can distort colour during processing
