How Long Does Exporting Take in Minvo?
Factors That Affect Export Time
1. Video length — short videos (under 1 minute) typically export in 30 seconds to 2 minutes; 5+ minute videos take longer.
2. Editing complexity — effects, B-roll, animations, transitions and framing adjustments all increase rendering time.
3. Export resolution — 1080p and 4K take longer than 720p. Minvo cannot upscale beyond the original upload resolution.
4. Server load — export queues may take longer during busy periods.
Typical Export Times
- Basic Shorts (under 1 min, minimal edits): 30 seconds – 2 minutes
- Medium-length (1–5 min, moderate edits): 2 – 5 minutes
- Longer or complex (5+ min, heavy edits): 5 – 10+ minutes
Tips to Speed Up Exporting
- Keep video length optimised for your platform
- Avoid unnecessary effects if time-sensitive
- Ensure all media files are valid — invalid media delays rendering
