How to Fix Video Download Issues in Minvo

Usually caused by internet connectivity, subscription status, video codec, or rendering errors.

1. Check Your Internet Connection

If the download is stuck, or reaches 100% but fails to finalise: confirm a stable connection, and try another Wi-Fi network or a wired connection.

2. Verify Your Subscription Status

If you cannot download any videos, or download options are restricted: confirm your subscription is active in Minvo, and renew or upgrade if it has expired. Downloads are only available with a valid plan.

3. Ensure Video Codec Compatibility

If uploads or downloads fail repeatedly:

  • Check the uploaded video format
  • Re-upload using libx264 or h264
  • Disable HDR when recording — it can distort colours and affect processing

4. Fix "Failed to Render" Errors

  1. Hard refresh — Mac Cmd + Shift + R, Windows Ctrl + Shift + R
  2. Review captions, subtitles or timeline changes — certain edits can break rendering
  3. Cancel and retry the export

Pro Tips

  • Use stable internet when exporting large videos
  • Stick to recommended codecs
  • Avoid heavy caption changes right before export
  • Turn off HDR during recording
